This was gathering a bit of traction based on Hodgson's assessment that he admires the Bulgarian midfielder and would like to have him in the Reds team.
While Petrov's been an integral part of the midfield as the "holding" player a fee of £7m has been mentioned and even staunch admirer O'Neill must be more than tempted if such an offer is made.
Anything over £5m and I'd bite their bloody hand off.

I keep reading we have a transfer kitty off 0 pounds !! thats terrified me and if we can get £7m for Stan id pay for his taxi to Liverplop
